I am a graduate of the Master of Arts in History program at Wilfrid Laurier University. My areas of interest include twentieth century Canadian history, sociocultural aspects of war, and gender history. 

 

My Major Research Paper (MRP), under the direction of Dr. David Monod and Dr. Mark Humphries, examined music on the home front in Canada during the First World War. This topic developed as a result of my longstanding passion for music, and my interest in learning more about the role of music in wartime.

This online exhibit displays many aspects of my MRP research. The website was created as part of a digital project for a graduate level course on Canadian History at the University of Waterloo with Dr. Ian Milligan.
